The most important lesson

For the past five years that this has been happening to me, it took me a while to understand, but I realize that the most important lesson, really, is simply that we give too much value to speech, we give too much value to words, we give too much value to images, we give too much value to sounds and we give too much value to concepts in general.
We take things for granted because we've read them or because we've heard them repeatedly.
We aren't robots that need language in order to function.
When we're born, language isn't innate. A baby can breathe without knowing the verb « to breathe », want to eat without knowing how to put it into words, and want to do things without knowing how to express them with words, images, concepts, and so on.
Yet as the baby grows up, they learn words, images, and concepts that change the way they think.

I remember that not long after it started, probably in 2022, I still thought I was dealing with French expat neighbors or French-Brazilian neighbors who had it in for me and were harassing me, and who seemed to listen to everything we said to make me lose my mind when I was in my apartment.
And back then, even though I had never met them and had never spoken with them, I heard one of them, with a teenager's voice, say what you can see in this image.
They also said things like: He doesn't understand
Actually, I get the impression that the people from the phenomenon proceed gradually and don't reveal all at once that they know everything we think.Even though, in reality, they did it once, and that's how I started taking antipsychotics back then, because I kept telling myself it couldn't be possible.
Anyway, back then I felt that those neighbors who were harassing me had a head start. They managed to make me uncomfortable by saying very surgical things, hitting exactly where it hurt, saying things and using words that made me uncomfortable.
Or they also have this ability to make me think really hard, and they made me come up with all kinds of crazy theories to try to understand who they were.
Looking back, I get the impression that the people from the phenomenon are trying to show me that I'm a fairly primitive being compared to them, and that I can let myself be completely tormented by sounds I hear or things I see if I'm not careful.
And above all, it's my fault, because even if they are sometimes the ones saying things that aren't pleasant to hear, I'm the one who assigns a value to the combination of sounds they make, decides that it's something negative, and affects myself with the meaning I take from the things I hear.
I get the impression that this also applies to my own inner dialogue and stream of thoughts. Sometimes I tend to think about things, situations from the past, or even hypothetical situations, and I realize that they affect me and that I can even feel sometimes negative emotions as a result.
It also mainly applies to things coming from other people. I realize that lots of people say all kinds of nonsense and are content to repeat things they've read or heard here and there.I'm not perfect either; I regularly say all kinds of nonsense, even though I try to be careful.
Even more so when it comes to talking about the phenomenon, on one side you have religious people constantly repeating things they've read or heard. On the other hand, you have conspiracy theorists constantly repeating things they've read or heard. And on another side, you also have psychiatrists constantly repeating things they've read or heard.
I don't think we should throw everything away. I think we should take the best from each thing.
Religious people mostly explain that we should see this in a positive way, but there isn't a single religious person who offers a ready-made solution. And there's a lot of noise, and the message isn't clear at all.
Conspiracy theorists manage to identify patterns in the way the people from the phenomenon interact with us, but they always treat it in a negative way.
Psychiatrists, on the other hand, explain that what is happening to us is an illness, a defect, so from that point on, it's difficult to see it positively. After a 15-minute consultation, we leave with a medication that doesn't even do what it's supposed to do properly and brings lots of side effects.
I think we need to start from scratch, from a healthy foundation, as I explain in the tutorial. There's definitely something going on, but it completely goes beyond us and we can't explain it, so let's call it the phenomenon, and let's call the people we hear the people from the phenomenon. At least that way everyone agrees, and we don't let ourselves be influenced by existing words, images, and concepts that may be built on nothing. And on top of that, it's really simple; you don't need a PhD to understand it.
Imagine if what we too often call « schizophrenia » was actually just intelligent people trying to help us. In fact, they're not saying random things; they're simply trying to get across the message that we're the ones who tend to say random things in general, and even more so when it comes to talking about them.
Sometimes I even wonder if most religious people worship gods who, when they interact with us, are called « demons » by those same religious people.
These intelligent people have the ability to know what's going on in my head before I can even put my own thoughts into words.
I wonder if they're just trying to help me understand that my mind and my way of thinking are filled with barriers, most of which are in the wrong places, while others shouldn't even exist.
