Under the rug

A short story in four pictures about the way most people handle what happens to me, and to plenty of others. My name is David, I'm just a developer, I hear people and sometimes I get visions and dreams that are out of the ordinary. There's no explaining it, it's beyond all of us, and it's not easy to « prove » — but I think I can convince.

There's no point trying to understand

Since I worked out that the people I hear are the ones from the phenomenon mentioned in religions, I live what happens to me in a far more positive way. The story takes the scale of the thing seriously: what if the gap weren't a hundred years ahead, but thousands, millions, billions? People to whom all our complexity would be trivial. And who mean well.

Cards without a story now have their own link

The copy button only existed on stories already written. The cards announcing what's coming now have the same one: a click at the bottom left copies the address that leads straight to the card, enough to show someone one of them without telling them to hunt around the page.

design

The cards breathe a little more

The story thumbnails were slightly too short for the illustrations they carry, which ended up cropped top and bottom. They're a touch taller.
